A little background, I was born in New Ross, Co. Wexford in Ireland. I arrived in Sydney in the late nineties for a year's travelling and I'm still here although I do head home on a regular basis.
I work in the inner west of Sydney where I live with my husband Gus, children Ella & Mac and our dog Roxie the staffy, who keeps me company most days whilst I paint.
I'm a self-taught artist and have been painting for over ten years. I work from my studio mainly in acrylics using large brushes and palette knives. No two of my pieces are the same but they all have a common theme - colourful and happy.
My inspiration comes from life, nature, a good day or even a bad day. My hopes for the future are to paint more, avoid folding laundry, explore different techniques, enter more art competitions and hold a solo exhibition one of these fine days.
My colourful canvasses and ceramic tiles reside in many homes across Ireland, UK and Sydney and also feature in some local cafes and boutique retail shops in the inner west. A selection of my work is also available at Ivy and Art in the beautiful town of Jugiong, which is about 3.5 hours south west of Sydney.
This website is updated regularly with new paintings. Join my newsletter to read about upcoming markets and gallery information.
